How To Launch Task Manager In Windows 11
If you’re accustomed to launching Task Manager in Windows by right-clicking the taskbar and selecting Task Manager, you’ll get quite the surprise in Windows 11 when right-clicking the taskbar only gets you the Taskbar settings. Not quite sure why Microsoft opted to remove this convenient option to access Task Manager but if you find the need to access the Task Manager in Windows 11, you do have some alternative options.
Option 1
Right-click the Windows Start Menu button and select Task Manager
Option 2
In Windows search (the magnifying glass next to the Windows Start Menu button), start typing Task Manager. Task Manager (app) should appear under Best Match. Select Task Manager
Option 3
On the keyboard, press the Windows key + X which will be equivalent to right-clicking on the Windows Start Menu button then select Task Manager
Option 4
On the keyboard, press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to launch Task Manager
Option 5
On the keyboard, press the Windows key + R OR in Windows search, type Run and select Run (app). In the field next to Open:, type taskmgr then click OK to launch Task Manager
Option 6
On the keyboard, press Ctrl + Alt + Delete then select Task Manager
