Big Changes Coming to QuickBooks Desktop in 2024

In a recent Intuit QuickBooks Firm of the Future Product Update, it was announced Intuit plans to stop selling new subscriptions of some Intuit QuickBooks Desktop products in the US after July 31, 2024.

The affected products include QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus, QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus, and QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll.

Customers with existing subscriptions to QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus, QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus, and QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll will not be affected and will be able to renew their subscriptions and receive product support and updates after July 31, 2024.

Customers considering QuickBooks Desktop Pro Plus, QuickBooks Desktop Premier Plus, QuickBooks Desktop Mac Plus, or QuickBooks Desktop Enhanced Payroll may still acquire new subscriptions prior to July 31, 2024, to be eligible for subscription renewals after July 31st.

After July 31, 2024, customers considering QuickBooks will have the option of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise or QuickBooks Online.
